It's a Mexican restaurant in New Haven, so there's a lot of non-Mexican items on the menu including crab rangoon! I came here with others and the waitress not only seemed less-than-thrilled that there were 10 or so in our party, but she was rude about taking our orders and splitting the check.
The spicy salsa and peach margaritas were good, everything else was okay. -

My last experience at this restaurant was horrible. I got an order to go and brought it home. Opened it and it smelled terrible terrible terrible. I ended up putting it in the trash.

Bad service.. Food came out cold.. Total disappointment for me hubby and I..rude waitress.. My drink sucked.. And our waitress didn't bother to check on us... Should have gone to Taco Bell

It's a "local" favorite and there a lot of regulars!! They do have awesome chips and salsa. Nothing pretentious. Come here for good food and no stress.

Decent food. Really nothing special or different. The margaritas were not good and did not even taste like they had a shot's worth. So I ordered an extra shot, added it in and it still was just not good...at all...super sugary.
The service was terrible. I think between 6 people we eventually got a refill on our chips and salsa, got our food, and to go boxes. We sat for 20 minutes waiting on our server to bring the bill. Finally a bus boy told us we go pay up front and they hold the bill. Gesh!
I would not go back to matter how bad I was craving Mexican. If you're visiting here, just hold off till you can get better. And if you live around here then you're better off heading to the next town.
